Rayan’s home is surrounded by a wall. He doesn't know why the walls are there, why Growers like himself aren’t allowed outside – only Hunters and Gatherers go out there. He doesn't even know his past; no one does: history was a secret. After finding a Bible, he is banished, for owning history. The last thing he's told before being locked outside the walls, is: “good luck,” for it's tradition. Can Rayan survive the barren wastelands outside the walls? What will he find out there? Most of all, is the truth worth dying for?
